Automatic driving lessons are offered in the Bronx from 7:00am to 9:00pm, at a cost of only $30.00.
(Door-to-Door service is available for most locations.)
The following driving lessons are offered to licensed drivers only:
-STANDARD SHIFT-
Standard Shift driving lessons are offered in the Bronx from 7:00am to 9:00pm, at a cost of only $40.00.
(Office Pickup Only for stick shift lessons. Deposit is Required.)
-MOTORCYCLE-
Motorcycle driving lessons are offered in the Bronx from dawn to dusk, at a cost of only $40.00.
(Office Pickup Only for motorcycle lessons. We supply all necessary riding equipment. Deposit is Required.)

The State of New York has made it mandatory for all permit holders to complete the Pre-licensing 5 Hour Course before applying for a road test. Colwell’s Auto Driving School currently holds this mandatory 5 Hour Course at our facility on East Gun Hill Road, during which refreshments are served. There is no written exam, no appointment is required to attend and you will complete the Pre-Licensing 5-Hour Course in just one visit. The fee is $30.00 and may only be paid in cash. For those of you on strict budgets, our Friday evening classes have been reduced by $5.00. You MUST bring your learner’s permit with you to class. |

The State of New York currently offers all drivers (permit holders or licensed) an opportunity to reduce their insurance and points by participating in a 6-Hour Insurance / Point Reduction Defensive Driving Course. Colwell’s Auto Driving School currently holds this 6 hr driving course at our facility on East Gun Hill Road, during which refreshments are served. There is no written exam, no appointment is required to attend and you will complete the 6 Hour Insurance / Point Reduction Defensive Driving Course in just one visit. Completion of this class entitles you to 10% off your automobile liability, no-fault and collision insurance premiums for the next three years and also guarantees a 4-point reduction off any violations that occurred in the previous 18 months. The 6-hr Insurance / Point Reduction Defensive Driving Course is offered at a cost of $48.00. You MUST bring your learner’s permit or drivers license with you to class. |
